1. Who we are

Plusq is an event discovery and creation platform for Belgium. We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / AVG).

2. Data we collect

We collect your name and email address when you register or RSVP for an event. We collect location data (with your permission) to show events near you. We collect usage data to improve the app, including events you view, attend or create. Payment data is processed directly by Stripe and never stored on our servers.

3. How we use your data

We use your data to show you relevant events, send you event confirmations and reminders, enable organizers to manage their guest lists, and improve our platform. We never sell your data to third parties. We never use your data for advertising outside of Plusq.

4. Data sharing

We share your RSVP information with the organizer of the event you signed up for. We use Supabase (EU servers) for database storage and authentication. We use Stripe for payment processing. We use Firebase for Google Sign-In authentication only. None of these partners may use your data for their own commercial purposes.

5. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct inaccurate data, delete your account and all associated data, export your data, and object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@plusq.app.

6. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Event data is retained for 12 months after the event date. Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by Belgian law.

7. Cookies

Our website uses only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
